Salla-Maaria Laaksonen (Docent/Affiliate Associate Professor, D. Soc. Sc) works as a Senior Research in the Centre for Consumer Society Research at the University of Helsinki. Her research focuses on communication and organizing in the platform society. Current projects look at organizingwith AI, activism in the hybrid media system, and the sustainability of digital media. She is also an expert in digital research methods and research ethics of using social media data.
Taru Nikulainen, Managing Director, Brunnen Communications. Taru lives and breathes strategies, influence and stakeholder relations. Being well seasoned in the communication field Taru is also strong in leading change communication and crisis situations. Since establishing Brunnen 14 years ago, Taru with her team has developed Brunnen as one the most appreciated strategic comms agency of the country. At the same time Brunnen has been evaluated as the most business ethical comms agency in Finland.
