Here are some of the key highlights:
1. Getting to know the Board of Directors 2024-2025: We are excited to introduce the new Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 term. Join us in welcoming the new leadership team, who will guide the Global Alliance toward new achievements and opportunities in the coming year.
2. Global Alliance President’s UN Address: Our President addressed the United Nations to advocate for “Responsible Communication” as the new 18th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). This significant address highlights the critical role of communication in achieving global sustainability and development objectives.
3. Presentation of the 2024 Global PR Survey (September 2024 - TBC): This survey provides valuable insights into the profile and status of public relations and communication practices across member countries. It offers relevant global data essential for decision-making that is sensitive to local contexts.
4. Release of the 2024 Approaching the Future Report (30 September 2024): The report analyzes key trends shaping the present and future of intangible asset management, with a focus on reputation, brand, sustainability, ethics, and transparency.
5. A Series of Webinars Featuring the Best PR and Communications Campaigns Globally (Throughout September 2024): Engage in enlightening webinars showcasing impactful PR campaigns from around the world. These sessions will provide valuable insights and inspiration from leading global practitioners and institutions.
6. The 2024 World Public Relations & Communication Awards: This global competition celebrates outstanding national and international public relations and communication management programs and case studies. The awards recognize excellence in campaigns that demonstrate strategic planning, creativity, and business results in stakeholder relations. The shortlist of finalists will be announced in September, and the Awards Ceremony will take place in November at WPRF 2024.
7. World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) in Bali (November 2024): The WPRF is a premier global conference in public relations and communication management, bringing together professionals, academics, and industry leaders. The forum serves as a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, strategies, and best practices.
