Be the 1st 20 Global Alliance members to JOIN US in collaborating with the World Health Organisation QualityRights initiative

Dear Colleague,

The Global Alliance is collaborating with the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) QualityRights initiative to address mental health and wellbeing challenges in our profession globally.

In 2025, Global Alliance member associations, organisations and educational institutions can offer their members FREE access to the WHO QualityRights e-training on Mental Health, Recovery, and Community Inclusion.

Why this matters* :

• 91% of PR professionals reported experiencing poor mental health in the past year

• 1/3 of PR practitioners have been diagnosed with a mental health condition, up from 25% in previous years

• 29% of PR professionals rate their job stress levels between 8 and 10 on a 10-point scale

• 60% of PR and communications practitioners have experienced mental ill health

• 50% of employees feel workplace stress harms mental health -

This 12-month collaboration begins with Global Alliance’s Health and Wellbeing Month in January 2025.

What we’re offering:

Be one of the first 20 member organisations to join the initiative and promote the training to your members.

• Commit by 23 December 2024 by replying to cao@globalalliancepr.org with a CC to muir.jennifer3@gmail.com

• Promote this free initiative to your members over three months (January–March 2025).

• Collect and share feedback on their training experience.

We will provide you with a ready-to-use promotional toolkit to make implementation easy.

Global Alliance members will join over 100,000 learners globally who have joined this impactful training.

We are thrilled to collaborate with the WHO’s QualityRights initiative in proactively supporting mental health in our profession. Together, we can foster awareness and action among colleagues, clients, and communities.
