Polish Public Relations Association with a new board. Karolina Łuczak is elected president

The Polish Public Relations Association (PSPR) has elected the new board for the years 2025-2027. The new president of the PSPR, Karolina Łuczak, emphasises that her priority will be the further integration of the environment and the development of the association as a space for the exchange of knowledge and the building of PR standards. The board also includes Renata Poreda, Maciej Krzysztoszek, Paweł Siedlecki and Luiza Jurgiel-Żyła.

On 8 March 2025, the general meeting of PSPR members decided that Karolina Łuczak, communications director and spokeswoman for Provident Polska, would be the organisation's president for the coming term. She succeeded Cyprian Maciejewski in this position, who left the board after six years.

In her presentation, Karolina Łuczak emphasised that the key for the new board will be to strengthen the role of the PSPR as an open space for exchanging knowledge and building PR standards. A precise strategy of activities additionally including education, volunteer activities and the area of ethics will only be developed by the board after research and consultation within the association.

‘Thank you very much to all PSPR members for your trust. I would like to transfer my experience from chairing the Spokesperson Club at PSPR to the organisation as a whole. I am keen to continue and develop what previous boards have worked out, with greater involvement of PSPR members across Poland,’ says Karolina Łuczak, President of the Polish Public Relations Association. - I want the PSPR to be an organisation open to everyone involved in communication in the broadest sense of the term, and to bring together people from all over Poland who are involved not only in public relations, but also in internal communication, social media, ESG communication, investors relations, public affairs, etc.'. - Karolina Łuczak adds.

Renata Poreda, spokesperson for ASTOR, has been appointed vice-president and remains on the PSPR board for a second term.

‘We have another two years ahead of us to work on the initiatives I have had the pleasure of co-creating. I am particularly keen to develop the PR Lions competition, which in its new format had its final on Saturday. Ahead of us is a time of intensive preparation for the activities of this term, gathering the votes of our members. I strongly encourage you to get involved in the work of the association so that our organisation grows and is a source of pride for each and every one of us,’ - says Renata Poreda, Vice-President of the Polish Public Relations Association.

The second vice-president will be Maciej Krzysztoszek, spokesperson and director of the Corporate Communications and Events Department at UNIQA in Poland. In his activities in the PSPR, he emphasises the integration of the PR community and the promotion of the highest standards in communication.

‘Our association creates a great community of public relations practitioners and theoreticians. It is the only industry organisation of its kind that focuses on people.

That's why I'm very keen that this term is all about people, their expectations, engagement and promoting best practice and attitudes.The PR industry deserves good PR,’ - says Maciej Krzysztoszek, vice-president of the Polish Public Relations Association.

Other members of the board are Paweł Siedlecki, responsible for building partnerships and internal communication at Totalizator Sportowy, and Luiza Jurgiel-Żyła, managing partner at the agency ‘Flynn. Communication Experts’, who was president of the PSPR from 2019 to 2023.

The PSPR's supervisory board comprised Mateusz Witczyński (spokesperson for Orlen SA), Anna Kiryjow-Radzka (PR Specialist at SGGW), Krzysztof Olszewski (Director of the Corporate Communication Department at Play), Roksana Obuchowska (Senior Global Communication Expert at Merck Group) and Agnieszka Bednarczyk.

For the 2023-2025 term, Cyprian Maciejewski, Roksana Obuchowska, Żaneta Przybylska, Renata Poreda and Mykhailo Krasiuk served on the PSPR board. The supervisory board, on the other hand, comprised Maria Buszman, Mateusz Witczyński, Anna Kiryjow-Radzka, Michał Sobiło and Bartosz Milczarczyk.

The PSPR authorities are elected for two years.

Bios of PSPR board members:

Karolina Łuczak - communications director and spokesperson for Provident Polska. She has been with the company since 2013, where she is currently responsible for the press office, internal and sales communication, and provides communication support for the areas: ESG, employer branding and public affairs. From 2023 to 2025, she was president of the Spokespersons Club of the PSPR. She has nearly 20 years of experience in public relations.

Renata Poreda - ASTOR spokesperson, PR expert with over 20 years of experience.She has been involved in the industrial and high-tech industry for 10 years.

Host of the Business and Production Podcast. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Programme Board of Postgraduate Studies in Public Relations and Brand Management at the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management of the Jagiellonian University, lecturer at the Jagiellonian University. In the PSPR, after a break of several years, since 2019.

Maciej Krzysztoszek - spokesperson and director of the Corporate Communications and Events Department at UNIQA in Poland. He is responsible for media relations, PR, corporate communication and events organisation. Previously associated, among others, with the Amica Group, the insurance company LINK4 and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Prior to working in PR, he was involved in economic journalism. He has been a member of the PSPR since 2018.

Paweł Siedlecki - expert on communication and image building in the public sector.He gained experience as a journalist and press officer in the Warsaw local government and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. Currently, he is involved in building partnerships and internal communication at Totalizator Sportowy.

Luiza Jurgiel-Żyła - managing partner at Flynn agency. Communications expert. Specialises in PR strategies in the real estate, entertainment and medical sectors. Previously worked at FIRST PR agency and in commercial real estate companies. An honorary member of the PSPR, she was the organisation's president from 2019 to 2023.
